I need a good brisket recipe ..

Marinate in mustard for a day, what rub do you use? What wood do you use?

 

I drank 1 beer last night, literally 1 beer

 

I drank zero beers last night... zero

 

I had 2. Tried boot tread from aldee. It was like a rip off of fat tire

I don't marinate it at all.

This is the rub I use. I put it on the brisket at least 12 hours before the smoke.

• 1/2 cup paprika
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons garlic powder
• 3 tablespoons onion powder
• 2 tablespoons oregano
• 2 tablespoons salt (coarse)
• 2 teaspoons cayenne powder

I use pecan chunks on a fuse burning methods.

 

Next time try coffee grain on brisket!

You apparently want something a ways out from Houston, since, for that price, you would need to supply your own crack whores.

 

Lol I'm not picky where. I get paid for living so far away from work anyways. That's about how much rent houses go for around my area so figured I'd ask on here as well.

 

My step-dads rent house goes for $2500 a month. It's a nice 3 bedroom with wood floors. The last tenant just left and he's slapping a fresh coat of paint on it right now.

 

That's a wee bit out of my price range lol
