I'm cool with it just because of that fact.

I gotta say that as far as renters insurance goes, Allstate is hard to beat. I did have to pay my deductible of course, but they're covering a good chunk of my loss.

It did come out that this was a side business related theft, but the value did not go over the limit in my policy. I was told that if I am going to continue doing business on the side that I should consider upping my policy, which I don't disagree with.

So, all is not lost. :)

What's up guys, recently moved here from Cali and looking for some advice. What do you guys with long travel/uniballs do about squeaking? Seems like dry lube lasts for about an hour lol. Oh and if you guys see a gray long travel/caged taco be sure to give me the finger!

Just look at the build thread
Getting all the body damage (minus the scratch) on my truck fixed and getting my timing belt and water pump changed (labor only, as I have all the parts) for $940 :woot:

You have LT and you're complaining about squeaks? You may want to consider losing the LT for a stock setup. Squeaks are the nature of the beast.

Yes I'm aware of normal squeaks, I've had LT for 4 years but it wasn't too bad in the Cali weather. Now it's gotten ridiculous and I was wondering if you guys have any solutions out here.

Where did you move to? And I stopped using triflow on the uniballs and went to a thicker, almost paste - like lube and they stay quiet.

Go check out Rice Village. Especially Rice University. There's a little bar down in the basement called Valhalla. Cheap beer, and good too. Cash only there.
