If it's in writing, you can easily fuck them on breach of contract

 

They're about to get fucked out of their profit on selling me this vehicle. If it's not here tomorrow, I'm shredding the contract and telling them to get fucked.

 

I remember when the dealership had to redirect the truck down to the dealership. They never gave me a precise date, but a week that it was to be delivered. They also let me know the status of where it was at. I was ok with that.

You're in a big market. If one dealer is being a dick, throw a dead cat and you'll hit another one. Benefit of being in a large metro area.

 

I'm in a big market but availability is the issue. There's only one in the metroplex and its sticker is $4000 higher than the one I had on contract. And after this experience in not going to work a deal on anything I can't put my hands on unless it's coming straight from the factory to the dealership.

 

So I'm getting a 2016 tomorrow for the exact same price as the 2015. They sticker about $2500-3000 more so I'm getting a little extra equity out of the deal and only having to wait 24 hours.

 

Tell them fuzzy dice, or no deal.

 

I told them window tint or no deal. I won.

At this point I'm pretty sure I could get a ZJ out of the deal. They know how much business I do with their parts department (TRDParts4U) and how connected I am in the offroad world and all their customers. They're not gonna fuck this one up.

 

Glad you are getting a better deal, but never underestimate the capability and desire for a car salesperson to slip you the ol' broomstick.
