If you decide to just take the check, be careful, from a couple of points, 1) insurance may want to inspect to ensure work is done, otherwise they may reduce the truck value based on the undone work, and/or 2) if you find further/more extensive damage (not uncommon...), you may have a tougher road to get to an additional settlement if you are mid-upgrade with non-stock parts.

 

3.5 would be kinda wide .. I would stick with the +2 IMO ... but lmk what you do and which kit you get .. I might be in the same boat next year

But, they're all upgrades!

Worst case is you aren't covered for all the work done so far. Usually limits to the amount any policy would cover.
