I didn't wheel my Tundra either. Never left pavement. Though I think it would have been fun with the Dirty5's and supercharger. But it was my first big boy purchase and I didn't want to mess it up. I have plans to wheel the new Runner but not to the extent I wheeled the Tacoma.

Fuuuuuuccckkk... Got the news today that we might be working through the outage. Been here since sept 1st and looks like we won't be done till Dec 22nd.

Why you move from one middle of nowhere to another again?

 

Palestine is far from middle of nowhere lol. Its a big town in a nice location for me. My momma kicked me out the house and a house popped up for rent up there so we got it. Its close to the gf's friends and family too so itl be nice for her when I'm off working out of state when I gotta.

 

Well I've never been there, just saw it on the map and it looked like the middle of nowhere. I've been through Columbus more times than I can count and I always thought it was a pleasant town.

 

Pleasant for the elderly and retired. For someone my age who enjoys activities and hobbies, its turrrrrible lol.

Pretty bad lol. Nowhere opened after 5 or on weekends, no home depot or Lowes, no movie theaters or bowling alleys, 5 places to eat, no dog parks or anything , don't even have a super Walmart... Pretty much no activities for anyone who enjoys going out unless you just wanna go sit in a field all day.

Not to mention work... My options are extremely limited to work here and the average income of the town is $30k so safe to say the pay isn't worth a fuck lol.

There's a ton of things I dislike about it here. I'd come back one day and retire just cause its a peaceful and quiet town. But it has nothing to offer for me.

 

Gotcha. That's typical of small town Texas. And is why so many young adults are moving away and some towns are failing. Brazoria, Texas is at a critical point now where they have to either attract a tourist economy (through a proposed Christian themed water park) or go bankrupt because all the kids are moving to the city cuz there's nothing there for them.
