Well been a while but im back in the Tacoma market. Went to NOLA this weekend and left truck here. Came home and the truck smelled like a wet dog, so went to have it cleaned and there was standing water under the floor mats. Dropped it off at Toyota and they said its best to just claim it on insurance cause its already full of mold under the carpet. Still not sure what happened but they suspect the front window leaked since its not original. So probably will be parting it out soon. Test drove the new Tacoma and 4runner last night and really like both but not wanting to wait 6 months for a TRD Pro 4runner when I was told it would only be a month for the Tacoma TRD OR longbed.

That's a bummer. Water damage is a pain to deal with, so you're probably doing the right thing.

What level of part out are you doing? Aftermarket, or everything? ;D

Pulled a Kase and changed my mind on the LT. :D

Gonna put her back to where she was and buy a crawl box and FJ case.

So you're saying you have a set of spindles?

That's bull shit! you shouldn't have to claim on your insurance. If you still have factory warranty. It's Toyota problem to deal with. They just don't want to put it under their records

That sucks Tony. Your truck looks pretty nice so you might as well sell all of your aftermarket swag, especially since most of it is pretty new and have no damage.

Just getting rid of the after market stuff. Looks like the suspension will swap over to the 3rd gen so ill keep that but front / rear bumpers, skid plates, winch, bestop soft top, weathertechs, and think thats about it. Also BAMF a arm skids and a set of TSS wheels.20150831_210357.jpg 20150522_084232.jpg 20150522_084301.jpg 20150522_084301.jpg
