Not sure, I'm the second owner and didn't know the windshield wasn't originall. The PO did all the maintenance at Mike Calvert according to the Toyota Owners website but doesnt show if they are the ones who replaced the windshield. It does show it was was in there twice for body repair.

Not sure what that recall note is for, but if it's for the windshield kazoo fix, they have to either reseal it, or replace the windshield gasket.

Was this the adjuster, or the fixer?

Also, was the day off for a hangover, or a glitter overdose?

There's a TSB for a noise in the windshield. Best way to describe the noise is a kazoo sound when the wind is a certain direction and at highway speed.

I had to have mine fixed way back. At first they tried to just seal by jamming sealant in there, and that did not work out, then they brought in a windshield guy to just replace the seal.

I'm confused, and no, that doesn't take much. Was this the guy's insurance person who is trying to figure out what the fixes will cost, or is this the shop that will fix it? If it's the first, wondering why he is ordering parts, if it's the second, I just hadn't heard you'd had it seen by an adjuster yet.

Because Toyota says it's the best :notsure: and I don't feel like doing research, I just want to buy it, realize a year later how inferior it is and then rip all the parts out that make it a pro to make it better only to come to the conclusion I wasted my money.

um no, I think it was James?
that was the first time anyone has looked at it, and all he did was look where i pointed "he hit me here, this part hit a tree"
didn't check the frame or anything else for damage

I already know its just a trail premium with a different bumper and trd coils. But i like the interior more and would rather pay more to get what i want
