Strange, my experience has been quite opposite.

There is always Nobi, Gordon Street Pub, or something else down here. Would be very convenient for quite a few of us.

I went back to the Petrol Station twice. I like the place but it was the same all three times for the Rancor, the burger was always way undercooked, even after asking for well done. The last two times my dining companion chose something else and they weren't wowed.
The toilet the last two times was horrible, I think they have a problem with their pipes backing up because you could smell it when you walked into the joint.

I really like the ambiance though, especially on a weeknight.

Now I could go for some Beaver's or BRC, but either place isn't very conducive for parking and staying for hours on end.

Petrols food was crap! And over priced. I will never go back.

As far as the restroom smell, I bet their floor drain p-trap is running dry. That is the most common cause of sewage smells in restrooms.

 

Fuck that place! David is right. Sammy wild game is better. Less beer on tap. But less hipsters as well
