You can hate it, it's ok. I kinda like it!

Poison Spyder 07-12 Jeep JK Hood Louver panel lol
    [IMG]

Dual purpose, let's the heat out when slow wheeling plus with a light bar up top will cut down glare from the painted hood.

I kinda like it too. But I also kinda hate it. But I also kinda want it. Lol
I been considering a cowl hood or modding a 4runner skewped hood for ages now, to lower engine bay temps, rendering my "CAI" a little more effective. That's probably an easier, cheaper alternative. From what I've read, cowl hoods and vents help engine bays stay an average 14°F cooler.

That's exactly how I felt about it so I bought one back in June. Dylan helped me out big time and we installed it at his place today. I plasma cut out the hood skin, he sanded it, and Kelly and I hit the cutout edges with some Rustoleum. After that Dylan and I got to work installing it. It is made for a flat panel, but we made it work. I kinda warped the hood skin a bit inbetween the bolt points, but with some tweaking it shouldn't be too noticeable.

Just another thing that differentiates my truck from the masses; although Matthew (short bus bully on here) will be doing his too lol.

    Already done!

I know there are some trails out there between pearland parkway and green tee by just off clear creek. It'll be like a swamp back there especially around the retention pond lol.

They are cheap. 150 for the powdercoated panel and 125 for the bare aluminum ones.
