    Question y'all!

    Ordered this kit from ECGS

    http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-14...-ratio-nitro-front-rear-gear-package-kit.html

"Package kit" supposed to have everything needed to install gears right? Well I get a call from jeff(my transmission guy) saying the gears don't fit in the front diff. So I'm confused so I call ECGS and they tell me "oh ya you need to buy our 3-series carrier cage for them to fit" ...... Nowhere on the website does it mention that. Now I'm without a truck for a few more days because of this.

Do you think I should pressure ECGS to give me the extra part for free or at least free overnight ship it?

Now they put me in a bind with this.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I think you should stop spending truck money between jobs.

Why didn't you call first? This is a major upgrade that should have warranted a call. Every time I go to that page, I see stuff I want but know I'll have to call for clarification.

I don't think they'll give you the part for free.

I ordered the kit while working. I've just had it sitting around for a couple months.

Granted , a cal probably could've helped but when they sell something as a "complete kit". Shouldn't it be just that?

How could you just rich it and have the parts sitting around for such a long time?!

    I am disappoint.

I've bought complete drum brake kits and have them not be complete. Luckily the comments and reviews of the product helped me to realize that before I broke into it.

Because I was waiting for the right time to have the truck down. Remember my line of work requires me to be ready to goto a job ASAP. This is when times got slow so this is when I decided to let the truck go in.

Would not hurt at all to call, complain and see if they will do anything, stick with the facts and come at them strong without crossing the dick line. I wouldn't expect anything from them but maybe you'll get free shipping or a discount. Worst case you pay for it all, which is where you're at now, so why not.

Just got off the phone with them. Had to pay for the part but they are discounting my overnight shipping for it. Meh.

I don't leave major parts  if I bought gears my truck would've been on the shop that same weekend. I only had my wheel bearings for w couple weeks because me and the shop kept having scheduling issues
