Do any of you have a suggestion for an electrical provider?

 

I am using penny wise. Think they are Houston based. Its all the same power so check out powertochoose.com and get set up with the cheapest.

 

Yeah, I'm looking at powertochoose.com right now. Just trying to find a provider without hidden fees. I'll checkout penny wise.

 

I can't believe some of these providers. $5 fee to pay with debit/credit card instead of autopay. $10 fee to pay over phone. WTF

 

Use powertochoose, but look at the detail sheets as they do game the system to show low rates, but for only low usage. Go above it and the rates are much different. E.g., the payment fees and also a surcharge for various usage rates. To get the best deal you need to have some idea of your usage through the year.

 

So fucking tempted....

 

Yeah. I have no idea how much usage I will go through a month in a small apartment.
It looks like the magic number is 1000 kWh per month. Then you get an 80$ rebate with most providers
