AISD is basically bordered by
610 on the south, 59 on the East, 45 on the West (and across 45) and North of BW 8 to 1960 in parts on the north.
That's not all inclusive, but it covers most of the area.

So I commute from the Westchase area (call it Westheimer and Gessner), up 59, west on 10 and take the exit after Bush Intercontinental and go a mile south to the office.
Not a bad morning commute once I get past 59-610, maybe a little slow going through downtown, then I see those poor schmucks bumper to bumper heading into downtown.

 

And you won't hear it from me either.
I would play a Mario Brothers marathon before I would submit to a poison ivy enema, but not by much.
