Btw @mizzac you may want to start slowly adjusting your body to uncomfortable heat so you don't have a heat stroke like @MTgirl

Adopted a dog yesterday, damn she's cute. Black lab mix, 2 years old, she wasn't going to make it in there much longer.
Cost of living depends on where you are moving to. For instance, not too far from you is Magnolia, there are some multi million dollar houses up there. If I were you I would look at Katy, Cypress, Sugarland areas. If you want to brave the traffic in the mornings (I would not recommend it lol), Pearland is a nice area and most of the HBS members live there. Mr. @Torspd lives near jersey village area though, maybe he can chime in.
Yes like Jon said, emissions testing unless your vehicle is 20? years old or a diesel.
x2 .. just like we freeze in 60 degree weather, it's hot and humid almost year round.

It's a slippery slope, Red. I got my first inside/outside dog in 2007. Prior I only had outside dogs. Almost 10 years later and she's currently laying in my dad's lazy boy, snoring. Spoiled rotten. She too was a rescue.

Got back yesterday about 7PM. That was with an overnight in Amarillo. We stayed in a so-so RV park in a crappy part of town right off 287, it was right next to a Drive in Movie theater, with a Valero on the other side of the highway if that means anything to anyone..

I slept ok. The GF woke up.
"I heard gunshots last night" :infantry:
"Are you sure it wasnt a car backfiring?" o_O
"It was like bang, bang .. bang ... bang, bang, bang, bang" :quickdraw:
"Err, I guess it was gunshots...." :notsure:

I still have to do Smashburger.

    Becks Prime was good.
    Langford Market was good
    Christians Tailgate wasnt, too dry.
5 Guys was ok -> good.
Someone told me Blakes BBQ does a nice beef&brisket burger, I need to try that.
I love the Rangor burger at Petrol Station.

Ooh, I am gonna have to remember that place.

The burger that I have had the most, recently is the Hay Muncher, err. Merchant "Cease and Desist" a double cheese burger with fries, just cause I hit that place up a lot.
