Wife caught pork loin on sell the other day for a dollar a pound, she picked up a ten pounder. I broke it down into random things and will probably through a chunk of that on the smoker. Probably have a few links of sausage on there as well, deer, boar, random jalapeno/spicy sausage. Speaking of fish I've been wanting to smoke some salmon, so I may do that as well. Probably do some wings on the grill with some thighs as well. Wife got me a few random six packs of IPA', so Ill be keeping cool as well.

God damnit if you were a woman Id smack you on the ass and give you a kiss right now!!!! I'm trying that this weekend, however I may throw in some Serrano' or Jalpeno'. What do you like your temp at for smoking salmon? I have a hard time keeping my pit at anything below 195ish.

Sounds good. My smoke box is about 3' from where I place my meats, so Ill be good there. About how long do you let it go? Ill probably get about a 3-5lbs fillet. Mesquite, Oak, Pecan, Hickory...?

 

Myself, @Toyboata and company are meeting a Facebook Tacoma group at General Sams tomorrow at 11AM if anyone is free and looking to tear shit up. I've been told they're having fireworks that night. Probably gonna camp, spending the entire weekend in either Huntsville or Houston though, including Monday.
