Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

Frikin new guys!!

 

We used to open early but there was no point. We would get one customer on the phone or maybe through the door every week before 9. So we adjusted our hours. I also live 3 minutes door to door from my job so I can snooze a little.

 

I have medium sized areolas ..

5 am for me, but not for too much longer

 

I've got a huge learning curve to close up. My project manager decided to send me to California for a vendor equipment test the first week of January. I have to test hardware I've never used and software that I only learned for a week back in August.

Yesterday I found out that because of the delays and problems from the vendor the client will have about 10 people there to witness the testing.

where today i am on it.
its friday and i am 10ish hours from a cup of grog in my dress at dickens..

 

I don't mind coming in early. Now I'm working 6am-3:30pm M-Th and 6am-10am Fri.

 

Pressure is good. I had been twiddling my thumbs for the last 5 months with nothing to do at work.

 

I had to take my chemo arthritis meds last night so I'm all thrown off. I also haven't driven the V in like 2 weeks I think and my moods are directly tied to how its doing. This weather is perfect but I'm not going to risk it going to work with the roofers still there.

I prefer going late because I miss all the plant workers and school kids and school zone BS. Also my last job I spent 11 years working ungodly hours starting between 2-4AM(I lived an hour away)so this is still a treat for me.
