Admittedly, you're right - I do need to accelerate a little slower. But even when I drive responsibly I only get like maybe 1mpg back on my total, so it just doesn't seem worth it to me. I'll drive the speed limit back to Houston on Friday and report back.

Yeah I was getting that before I realized that my speedo was 10mph slower than my actual speed. So 75mph was actually 85mph. Good thing I never got stopped. (Knocks on wood)

In the truck I just go with the flow of traffic. In the car I go faster than traffic. Since no one can see me in thier blind spot.

My dad bought an old Miata for me to learn how to drive manual on, that thing was so dang small it was just unsafe to drive on busy roads. Almost got squashed a number of times.

Unsafe to drive slow! But if you drI've a little faster that the flow of traffic. That thing can go in and out of lanes like nothing.

I used to breed pits. Had 4 adult males and 5 females at one time. Red nose, with an impressive lineage (if you're into that I can dig out my old file with their pedigrees)

It had a turbo kit on it, and we got some Autocross tires on there as well. Fun car, would recommend a Miata to anyone looking for a cheap weekend car! Bought and sold it for $3k

Well I be damn. I bred them for a few years. Was more game pits than anything. Most of my buyers used them for wild hod hunts.
