I was at the chop shop yesterday. I can hear the hail. But it melted by the time it hit the ground.

Pretty easy actually, we are on a $350 million project and being held up by missing parts that were supposed to be ordered. It's all good though, they will just go to the next job and do the same shit.

Don't start the sales pitch until she is there. Or you are going to talk her out of it.

I'd rather have my monthly payment going towards a little bit of equity than being lost to rent.

How is an engineer responsible for missing parts that did not get ordered? That is the responsibility of either procurement or the contractor.

They were engineered items, and the engineering firm is ordering them all .. well they are supposed to. Happens every project and won't stop.

I would put part of the blame on your company. They are supposed to conduct review meetings, vendor progress inspections and acceptance tests well before the deadline of when engineered items are needed.

typical engineer response, 'it's not my fault I didn't do my job'

also, I'm the liaison between the contractor and the client, that's it .. do you even know what I do o_O

also there's an engineer out here, gorgeous chick .. probably 30 years old.. but dumb as rocks.

her mini project was to revamp a small vessel which included 4 instruments, that's it.. guess what she did? forgot one instrument and the other 3 were the wrong alloy .. this is every day shit. Some people shouldn't be engineers
