I was assuming they all had the blanks for the camera but apparently not and I didn't ask about it.

 

I would say drill it out. Is the spot in sight where you need to drill.

 

No, it won't be seen with the gate closed, it's just the blank is an irregular shape to accommodate the clip. I'd prob just drill out big enough to get the connector through and then use some heavy rubber insulation to protect the harness from the cut hole
