the generally accepted definition is:
-greater travel (in either or both directions) than stock, while maintaining stock geometry. Obtaining said travel is to be done in a mannor that improves performance (i.e.-not by use of spacers, or bolting on or an impropper, but longer, shock)

Edit: your definition is a good one for the front end of tacomas speciffically, but does not apply to all vehicles with varying suspension designs. above is a more "universal" definition.
