I started writing you a message the other day about having you bend some tubing for my rear bumper, but then I decided I'm going to buy my own after my welder gets shipped. I just forgot to delete what I had typed.

 

If you want, I could rent out the bender to you. I could build a hitch mount for it and let TW peeps borrow it. I have talked about this with snorks and Dylan.

I looked pretty hardcore at the 2. I almost went with them this time around. But late nights researching on forums and asking around, I ended up going with another jd2. Let me know. I would rent it out for like $100 for a few days or something.

Most likely I'll get my own with a 1.75 die and a few smaller dies to do home/art projects for my wife.

 

10-4. I just know it's hard sometimes to justify a purchase if you're only gonna use it a few times.

For the price of a smittybilt it's actually a great deal. Especially if you get it on sale. I got every penny worth of use out of mine.

Also, how you care for it determines how well of shape it will be in after a year of use. Kinda like a cheap tent from Walmart.

 

True. One owner said his Velcro started to fail, and the bag flew off on the highway and his tent popped up...

 

Also if you don't leave it on all year it saves it from A LOT of wear

 

Also, I believe they've solved the majority of their quality issues!
