i have never seen this sharknado you speak of. but per the NOAA probabilities this has like an 80-90% chance of cycline formation meaning it may become a hurricane, and our first in a long while

its been a long time since we got a good one. and you dont want to go to the store when it develops into a hurricane and theres no campbells soup or water to be had

 

What sucks is I can prep all I want but i'm located in evacuation group A for Galveston County meaning I could be forced to evacuate or face a significant fine for staying. I did learn that they will have food, water, and gas trucks all along the evacuation routes HWY 146, I-45 and HWY 6 I believe it was. One of the evacuation planners did a presentation at my boss' network meeting the other day and they seem far more prepared for a mass evacuation now. They also have it set up to where if you need help evacuating you can call 611 and register with the exact needs you have(oxygen, heart condition, etc)and then you call back and give them the number they assign you and they will come and pick you and your pets up and get you out and will be prepared for whatever your specific needs are.

 

well that sounds way better than it used to be. Kinda sucks youre in group A. i should check if i am even in a group, but im north of downtown near 610 and 45N so i would doubt evacs would extend that far north.
