Don't know when you bought the truck or how many miles it has but if under 3 years and 36k miles it should be covered by warranty

 

Does a warranty cover batteries? I was under the impression that batteries fell in with brake pads and things like that.

 

Hmmm I'll call the dealer. I bought in in Dec2014 and it has 55K. It might not be under warranty anymore. Thx

 

That's what I thought also. But I will call the dealership and verify

 

"should", sure,,, "do", not so much anymore. The last three new vehicles we've had, the OEM only lasted 2-2.5 years

 

Just buy a new one. Not worth the time for factory battrry

I think if I were to get to the point that I was a burden to people I loved, I'd probably start seriously considering.

I agree on the burden thing 100%. There are days now where my RA gets super bad and I feel like there is no way I am doing anything but dragging others down with me. I keep trucking along and try to do everything by myself to alleviate the guilt I feel but it sometimes really gets to me that I'm 30 struggling with this "old person" disease. Also, driving is such a big part of my life to ever have it taken from me I would be miserable amd so as petty of a reason as that is I would be in a dark ass place and probably consider it.

 

If the time comes and you are not able to drive.... Just call me! I'll drive you a round in your V!
