Wheeling parks? like you have to pay to use it kind of thing?
The law is the same here but u only get trouble if u are doing dumb shit or piss the cop off.
I thought Houston was flat or the area was. The most humid here is like 60% for a few days and we are all dying from it.

Houston is mostly flat. To the north about an hour is hilly. To the west about 4 or 5 hours is very hilly. Humidity can get in the 90's here. Yeah I think you have to pay to wheel at those parks. I've only been to General Sam's off road once, near Huntsville, and it was free cuz my friend worked there

Um...It’s enforced every time you go in for the annual safety inspection. No plate, no pass.

I’d be willing to drop another $600 if I take off the Roof rack and dakars.

That’s pushing it KBBs low estimate.

We did. Any county that immediately surrounds a major metropolitan area does.

To renew ur plates they have to do a safety inspection every year? wow that's crazy. I get it, there are some cars on the road out here that I speed up to pass because I know something is about to fall off. Do they go through your ride or just a quick outside thing? my truck is solid just asking. I know in Hawaii they are kind of strict there. out here you can get a vintage plate for a car over 25 years old. Just need to renew every year no checks. You are not suppose to go over 2500 miles a year but people use them so they don't have to smog there cars. Law is change that they are doing a mileage check every time and you have to have another car registered to get it.

Safety and emissions. They will plug it into their machine which checks everything out. They do visual inspections to ensure that you have cats and the plate so just zip tie a plate on for the inspection. You can't register it without an inspection so you will have to pass it to get Texas plates.

Good news is texas is working on removing the safety inspection part of the annual inspection.

It’s really just a big joke the whole annual inspection thing. Just another tax the government forces onto us with zero benefit. Up there with: federal income tax, sales tax, cell phone tax, alcohol tax, gas tax, property tax, hotel tax, gift tax, Tabbaco tax, etc, etc.

Again, just another way for the government to take our money for no apparent reason.
