What brand shocks are you going with?

 

King cause they're not much more than bilsteins at all and have the perfect numbers.

I'm gonna try to have shocks and a front locker by then. But who knows.

 

You say fancy but shit. Any 16" travel bilstein shock I can find has a resi and is $300+/each. King is cheaper for once lol

I've gone 5 years on stock CV's beating the shit out of them. I'm kinda happy without a locker in the front because of that but the time is coming and I need all 4 wheels so it's whatever

 

Gonna keep sinking money into ifs instead of saving for SAS?

 

For now yea. I don't wanna put the money a SAS requires and I don't want the downtime that comes with it too. If I did a SAS at my age and income level, it would be half ass and I'm kinda getting tired of half assing shit. Idk if I'll ever actually go LT but after the rear is done and front is locked, I'll just focus on the truck itself until I decide the next suspension setup

 

Ah thats right i forgot you had mentioned going LT up front too

 

I'd go LT before solid axle for sure just to put off the swap a little longer and to experience LT. But I still got the little truck, the tundra and eventually need to buy a house/shop/barndominum. So the SAS will be a while. I got that job in Waco that starts in march which will be a nice little chunk of change and then I may goto lake Charles after and if I do , that'll be long term or even that 5 month job in Kentucky. So hopefully next year I'll pay off the tundra and set some money in the and can buy a house im the beginning of 2019
