Sure people run those gears. But doesn't mean it's correct for the size tire. I think most people do as others do, because that's what the read

I may have, or may not have, done that the first few days after I put my sliders on. Still haven't decided if I need to step on them to get in and out of the truck, or just hop over them getting in…
