    Hi Houston BSers!!

My name is Jan and I am looking to relocate to Houston in June. Would love to start interacting with everyone and hopefully get some light offroading in! At least anything that my stock 3rd gen trd sport can handle haha.

My girlfriend recently got a residency at Baylor so we'll be looking for places accessible in that area. I'll be... well I'm still figuring that out haha. I currently work in real estate finance so hopefully you guys have a lot of that there. If anyone works at Baylor or in real estate finance, would love to talk.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting some of you guys and looking forward to some new taco action!! Pic of us for attention.9c0febef-6be5-4d1d-87b9-5ce24018ebfa_5caf8a56b4550e73749dde95a50b16594678393b.jpg

Houston is already overpopulated. Please relocate to New Mexico.

Y'all are killing it for us small town people. The land we want to buy to stay close to family has quadrupled in price just cause Houston people buy land out here for absurd prices to get away from the city.

Like they're building a freaking polo place right down the road from me and I can already tell I'm not gonna be able to afford the 5 acres I want to buy for my future house and shop Prices went from 2,000-3,000 an acre to 6,000-8,000 in the past few years. Ridiculous

6-8k for an acre is not Houston. That’s sleeping with your sister in the country Houston.

Houston is more like $10-20 per sq ft.

I live outside Houston. About an hour west. But y'all get tired of being in the city and move out here. Y'all are used to the $10-$20sq ft prices so when y'all come out here, realtors take full advantage of it and sell the land for absurd prices just cause y'all will pay it. Which sucks for us in the small town and just want to stay in the area lol.

Don't you put that on me.

    Welcome to Houston!

Most of us live out in the suburbs, but there are several members who live within the Loop who may be able to provide y'all with a better idea of what is available near the Medical Center. If y'all aren't adverse to driving, there is no shortage of possibilities outside of the Beltway.

Whenever y'all are in town, just post something up and maybe organize a little meet & greet.
