Boudin is amazing. Rice, meat and seasoning in a sausage skin.

 

I thought it was pretty amazing. Tried it at Bangers in Austin....but, some dude from work said it's probably not legit.

Everyone has something to say about what's authentic or nah.....

I liked it.

 

Boudin balls are awesome. They'll make a rabbit hug a hound because they're so good.

The best boudin I've found in Texas was at a mom & pop grocery store in Beaumont and a meat market in Orange.

 

I make boudin kolaches...

 

Liver and other bits.. lol

 

There is one little store in port auther I use to stop by when I was down there. But I found one local just as good if not better

There's a place in Pearland called Auntie's Meat Market and Deli. They make some of the best boudin I've had around here. You can get spicy or mild boudin balls or links and the spicy is honestly the perfect spice level. They make great food and on Friday and Saturday morning from 7-10 they do cajun breakfast tacos which are essentially boudin and egg tacos. Also make homemade beignets that are really good and they make it all fresh as soon as you order.

These are also pretty good.

 

Boudin Pistolettes are pretty dern good too.

 

Boudin stuffed jalapenos are pretty good too.
