It did. I saw so many porches, miatas and subi’s here and it all makes sense.

Cali is awesome. Just got some overly left people ruining it slowly lol

Just keep in mind, anywhere you go some things suck and some things are great, it's all about finding the mix that you can live with. Everyone's balance is different. Best bet is to do what you're doing and get out there and look, ID the suckage and the greatage.

Yea I won’t move next week but I’ll be visiting soon and feeling the place out more and more. Really doesn’t seem like THAT much more expensive than moving to parts of Houston. $1,500-$1,700/month rent just like Texas in certain parts. Gas was $3.80/gal where I was at which is bad but it’s not $6 like people exaggerate. Idk. I gotta find me a plant out here and I’ll be good to go. I’m a gypsy anyway lol I like traveling

Got like half a dozen cousins born and raised in LA area. They’re “yappies”, young Asian professionals (engineers, accountants, medical). They all seem broke ass shit, driving 10 year old nissans and living at home. While I’m here in an apt bigger than their moms house and driving a new truck... Y’all can have that California shit.

I thank my lucky stars I’m from Texas.

I’m the opposite. I got the new truck and house and all that but idk. It doesn’t do it for me. Nice stuff ain’t the way to happiness for me. I’d rather drive a $3,000 taco and wake up in this beautiful area than a $30,000 tundra and wish I was somewhere else lol

True that. I’m looking around and there’s cheaper parts of cali. I got a good skill that’ll let me work anywhere. I just gotta find a good paying option that’s close enough.

South Carolina is probably the spot I'll be headed to next. Can get a bigger house for less monthly payment and the beach is only 45 minutes with traffic from where we are looking
