I've never heard it call that before.

When I lived in Texas City with my parents we would fish out there sometimes and catch all kinds of stuff. I haven't been out there(or fishing)since I moved even though I'm still only like 20 minutes away in Dickinson.

 

What's important is if it's a class A, B or C.

 

Oh yeah, you’ll def catch some weird as shht there, caught a puffer fish (didn’t get a pic), ladyfish, and a toad fish last week there. All in 1 day. Kinda fish you do not want. I’m done with this spot hahaha

 

I really like dog fish even though I wouldn't want to eat them and honestly I enjoy just catching and releasing stuff too. I used to fish the hell out of Moses lake and all over the bay with my dad but I just sold the boat as I didn't ever really seem to have time to use it(and he passed away). I may buy another little bay boat so we can run around there but for now I would have to fish off the shore if I want to wet a line.

 

I’m dying to catch a 20” red, been catching everything but that this year, fml. Might just have to wait till October when the seasons right
