There are plenty of good looking plate bumpers but you should see if you can see some of them in person. Or...build your own if you have the time so it is exactly how you want it.

I don’t even have a mig machine or shop to plug a mig machine in right now lol and I can’t lie, I need to find a fabricator to work with to learn stuff one day.

Knowing how to weld doesn’t mean you know how to design stuff

On a $5,000 crawler, I’ll give it my best shot to build a bumper

On the new runner, nah It deserves better lol.

CBI, shrockworks, ADD are really the only options.

Yea there’s ARB and heftyfab and lab 4x4 or whatever... but none of those are even good enough to be options to me.

I haven’t seen a bumper I go “fuck, I need that” for the 10-13... yet

Shrockworks makes great products and as much as I hate them Proline make front bumpers too.

They make quality bumpers without a doubt. Doesn’t make them beautiful.

Just looks like a standard plate bumper. No cool wow factor or design that really flows with the front end.

Like these are cool. Nothing wrong with them at all. But idk. I don’t drool when I see em.

I’m leaning towards CBI just cause I loved the Dakar bumper I had on my Tacoma. But idk. I’d still be settling.

Actually considering an aluminum bumper too to save weight :anonymous:

Did you look at Demello? I think it looks like crap but you might like it.

Most of the bumpers made for the 2010-2013 seem to be designed more to protect things than to look good hard parked at the mall. With the popularity rising as the 4runner became more popular with people building them the aftermarket support increased with the new body style.

Edit: Headlight hoops kill the look of almost every bumper I see with them. Just looks bad. I understand function but it just looks terrible to me.

I actually feel opposite. All the bumpers are to look good for the gram and not actually be used hard on the trails.

I loved the CBI Dakar I bought for my Tacoma. It was different than all the others but still tough as shit.

    Tube/plate hybrid.

    Loved it.

Sucks nobody makes one like that for the 10-13 runner.

Kelly I love you and you know this but you know everybody has their own opinions on stuff. I know your bumper has been used. I saw it myself. I’m not saying your bumper isn’t a good one. It just isn’t perfect to me so I’m not trying to offend ya with this.

I’d need a computer, software for the computer, and someone to teach me how to use said software so I could fuck wth a bunch of different designs for the front

I'm actually not offended at all but I know it's hard to read tone through text.
