Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

I used drive a 17 f350 DCLB 4x4 around Houston for a carpentry shop. I loved that truck. Was a beast in the highway and kinda fun being oversized for downtown and being a defensive driver lmao

 

Not really a fan of any half tons across all manufactures, i like how the dodge 3/4 tons look and love the cummins sound but as a package i'd pass... more partial to ford 2fiddys and the 6.7

 

I'd try a Titan XD before a Dodge

 

They truly are ugly AF

 

They're all hideous. But it's a Cummins wrapped in a non Dodge. Win.

there's a maroon one at my plant that's got like a 12 inch lift or some shit and steel bumpers... it's actually kinda decent looking
I'm not a fan or the height or the color, but I can see the potential. A nice 4 inch lift and some decent wheels and tires on a normal color would go a long way.

 

Picking a truck to replace my Tacoma is extra hard since I don't really want to replace it...

 

Those are just barely more hideous than a 1st gen tundra

First gen tundra DC. Make it an 05 or 06 for the vvti. More power plus a 5 speed auto for better mpgs. You're welcome.

Will be keeping it for truck duties. The GX would be the bone stock DD for a couple years til it transitions to the full time off roader

Isn't the 4runner backseat the same size as a Tacoma's?

You can get a 3rd row in a 4Runner.

My 4runner backseat is pretty roomy. Get it without a sunroof and you have more headroom.
