Started carrying my wife’s pistol this week. So much more comfortable. I can leave it in my waistband while driving and wear tighter fitting shirts.

I dont want to be the one to point this out (because @ChadsPride kind of did), but I will, you (@nafoo ) dont need a bigger truck necessarily. There are other options, youre just unlikely to like them, but with two kids the Odyssey or Sienna are pretty slick, also the ford flex has a TON of interior space for all the shit you do or dont "need" the truck bed for. You probably dont like this answer though, its definitely not as "manly" as a big ass truck, but it may be a little more economical.

Learned to drive in a '99 Chevy Suburban, backing in is the BEST way to park so much easier than attempting to swing into a space when there is a severe lack of space to swing or pull through to the next space to straighten out.

Yeah, wife has a RDX and doesn't want a van. I think these new vans are cool as shit with all the features they come with. I just need something that can pull a 20' boat every once in a while.

I used to laugh at people who drove minivans until I rode in an Odyssey. That vehicle is no joke and now I understand why it's won so many awards. Riding in one is similar to traveling 70mph down the freeway sitting on your favorite couch.

like you guys my sister was OPPOSED to an odyssey. I told her a cousin in law had newborn twins and a toddler son and they swore by their odyssey, so I told her to at least give it a shot, a test drive later it was in her driveway and shes never looked back.

Heck my grandparents have an odyssey (and an avalon) and it is the most comfortable, quiet vehicle to put 6 ADULTS in with the captains chairs in the second row making movement to the third row super easy

You could tow a boat with a heavy duty van, my in laws had a big blue 12 (maybe more) passenger e250 (IIRC) and they towed their boat, kids, kids friends, other adults, and all their stuff for YEARS with that van. Talk about economical, and with #VanLife trending who knows, maybe it will increase in value haha.

    https://truckbe.com/2020-honda-odyssey-type-r-release-review/

It was hard decision to make, so Honda seized the opportunity to put the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 from the Acura NSX.

This engine delivers the full 500 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque but the Odyssey Type R’s will have a different setup. But it will still be enough to fulfill all your needs. To conclude, under the hood of the 2020 Honda Odyssey Type R we can find the 3.5-liter V-6 engine which provides a 445 horsepower and 373 pound-feet of torque. This amount of power will be delivered with the six-speed transmission. Let’s not forget that top speed sits at an insane 186 mph and that it reaches 0-60 mph in 4.1 sec.
