I have noticed the increase of blues. Some of it is good. Others not so much.

 

Yep. They need to add.in some lesser known oldies in the rockabilly, punk rock, garageg rock and metal genres. That could be how they preserve rock. Hell even playing new punk and metal would be great. The problem is with the FCC and lack of radio edits. You'd have to make your own radio edits for 90% of the music after 1980. But you got plenty of gems between the mid 60s to the late 70s.
