2 guys bickering back and forth over BST rules. One complaining that the other isn’t even a taco owner and still calling people out over BST rules.

Really though, they could’ve just shit canned the 2 and been done.

 

That's what did it?? I did see that, and just fast forwarded through the BS like I always do. Hard to believe that caused the entire thread to get nuked. Interesting decision.

 

TW has been adapting and evolving with the new people joining. I get it. Things like this aren’t surprising anymore.

 

too many newbs joining as a fad and introducing a lot of BS. I dont blame the mods for having twitchy trigger fingers on the delete and ban buttons. They live a thankless volunteer life to try to keep this place mostly productive for the rest of us.

 

I usually keep to myself. But the people here I've talked to have been good.

 

yes, agreed. but that doesnt mean there arent a ton of douchy yahoos running around on here trying to sell their items without pics or BST before 50 posts, breaking hte easy rules then getting defensive when people call them out which generally spirals into a of epic and uncalled for proportions (hence the thread deletion instead of the suspension or ban of the members)

After the initial 2 people more felt the need to jump in and comment about it from what I saw. Not sure how many it ended up being in the end.

I can’t wait for the overlanding fad to die down and used parts go back to being cheap and parks go back to being more relaxing. And the newbs stop joining here.

I’m not a old timer by any means but I’ve been on here since 2011 and I remember a time when we didn’t blast people for not having 50 post on the Classified thread and whenever people would get banned for 30 minutes, 1 day, 3 weeks, etc.

I’m a broken record saying this but TW was a lot more active back then too(atleast Texas side was). This new stuff may be the future and we gotta get over it but meh. It’s a downhill slope.

Yup. Or at least low 90's. But the lows will be in the low 70s (at least from what I've seen for me in Friendswood)
