Anyone have experience with THE SHOP Off-road in League City?

Well I decided to give them a call yesterday afternoon to get a quote on re-gearing my tacoma.. (because they are 10 minuets from my house)
the person on the phone tried telling me that they are the only people around that would even attempt it.. attempt? He then continued to spew shit from his mouth telling me that it’s a two - three week job... that will cost me 9k!!!! For gears no locker! People must’ve lost their minds

 

Goto Duggys Garage or Triple C chop shop in Austin. They do damn good work and support the community and are good people.

 

For sure! I’ve had work done at Duggys with no complaints. Just figured I would check with The Shop off road since they just built a new shop so close to my house. Duggy’s quoted me half that price with a front locker.

Most shops charge about 3 to 400 one side. So 7 to 800 front and back.

Wife brought my truck home like this today (her fault). Needing some council. I havent talked to insurance yet, anyone know a smart way to go through with it? Im thinking im gonna have to fork out some money to repair it might as well and put that money in to a cool grille guard or something. Thoughts?
