It takes some thinking, so you might need to spend some time on it. :boink:

But lets be honest, are we really that surprised that the new supra is mostly a re-dressed Z4? the new B58 isnt that bad, bottom end pulled apart looks similiar to the 2JZ-GTE with the oil spritzers and toyota has gotten pretty lazy with their cars. Took the hint when the FRS/BRZ came out and then the news that toyota is working with mazda for a chassis platform that they could use across all their sedan line. Toyotas gotten too big for their own britches and quite lazy.

Why does this irk me so?...
"machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, then an anodized coating is applied to protect from rusting."

Aircraft aluminum doesn't rust and resists oxidation. It's like saying "rustproof plastic."

Aluminum shouldn’t need protection from rust since it really doesn’t ever rust

Ah ok. I assume its a marketing ploy for the ignorant customers but for a second i thought you were talking about guns so i was assuming they were anodizing for color lol.

Well technically aluminum can still wear with the elements so they aren’t wrong. Just claiming it is dumb cause it’s selling people with shit they don’t understand

Aluminum will show some oxidation, just thought it was funny that a company selling suspension lifts for a truck would include that in the description..

Pure aluminum will oxidize - it's a fine while powdery film. Aircraft aluminum is a heat-strengthened alloy that is corrosion resistant. There is a HUGE difference.

All aluminum used commercially is of different alloys so I get that. But stating that you're "adding corrosion resistance to aircraft aluminum" is like saying you're adding a rustproofing treatment to stainless steel. You're an idiot, and smart people should get to call you out for it.
