AND you gotta find a certain year Lexus that doesn’t have the Navigation cause the headunit ALWAYS shits out and it’s expensive to repair.

    I'd take a 1st.gen Sequoia over the current v6 4runner any day. But I'd prefer a 4th gen 4runner v8 or gx470.

I almost ended up with a beautiful 1st gen sequioa, single owner 4wd leather package. My in law grandparents were offing it and knew i liked it a lot so offered it to me, but i had JUST bought my 4runner at the time....... I still think about that sequoia. the only downside to the 1st gen sequoia is the gas tank needs to be bigger for that big v8.

Why in the hell would you take a 1st gen seq over a 5th gen runner?

How small is the gas tank? Mines 26 gallons. Gas light comes on at 21

Not everything new is better or.even good, especially if you never took time to appreciate.an.old.diamond in the rough to begin with.

Underrated performers? Dumb performers. The current v6 makes more power than that gen v8 and gets better fuel mileage.

Less torque though and will cost.you 3x as much. I'm not trying to convince.you. you have your way and I have mine and that's fine.

I make 40more hp than that gen and only have about 20lb-ft of torque less

Throw in any factor. Like bumpers. Or tires. Or anything that weighs anything and your point is invalid.

Its barely less torque and i do agree not ALL new technology is good but most of it is and with better fuel management and timing these new V6 will outperform and last longer than those old V8's not to mention the 20-30lb/tq is negligible when adding weight like armor or towing anything like a boat. if 20-30ln/tq makes that big of a difference for you than you need a bigger truck for the job.

They sell so many tundra cause the price is so cheap. And taco dont get discounted cause they have a higher resale value. But when stock my taco got way better mpg than any tundra.
