Stop trying to make sense of people. It just doesn't work and utilizes your own brain cells for something that you could redirect to something closer to useful. I have one son working at HEB, he has some good stories of stupid people.

Oh I'm sure he does. I drove by the pearland parkway one. And they had people lined up outside. Only letting 20 in at a time? But no one in line stood 6 feet apart lol

I am impressed by how our local HEB is enforcing distancing while still providing maximum service. Most items are in stock, they're limiting the high-grab items to 2 each, and restocking every night.

I don't get what's up with french fries, though. Seriously - cleaned out!

Grocery stores up here are pretty serious. You unload your cart at the end and they do all the bagging and loading for you. Then you step up to pay and they step away from the register

I was at the store last weekend, and saw a guy who was shaking his head and kind of laughing. I said "interesting times huh?", he said he was laughing to himself at what people were actually hoarding up, and what was left. I agreed and said that it just helps you decide how you need to change your own eating habits to avoid the prepper-bitches.

So my tires on my new car are 4 years old with 24k miles on them. I'm thinking they are getting old. I think I need to find a nice open parking lot and work on my donut and burnout skills.
