I don't as I've never led the group but I think Houston Overland has one in the Giles on their FB page. Apparently the last groups that ran through there were repeatedly harassed by one of the forestry workers and they were told they needed a permit and some other BS.

Yep. The short version of the story is a group of about 75 went on the last run and got pulled over and bitched out for being in such a large group and told they couldn't be in groups of larger than 25 people. So they split up into 3 different groups and he chases them down, makes them all get out of their vehicles and proceeds to chastise them like children about appropriate behavior in the forest, not destroying roads, how they need a permit etc.

The leader of the group let him know that his boss had been notified 3 days before and said they didn't need any additional approval and he basically continues to be an asshole and eventually let's them go about their way. Several other smaller groups of 2-3 have reported having similar issues lately as well.

 

I've seen Dylan take a diesel and a 26ft gooseneck down a trail without damage as well.

 

Sounds like someone needs to get Gomer Pyle's name and report him. Isn't a good portion of that actual named roads?

 

That's pretty accurate.

He really just wanted to bitch at us because he "suspected" that some of us might have been involved in illegal off-roading the previous weekend.
