Well if it leaks out of the seal from the driveshaft. It would only leak out so much before the oil leave drops down far enough to somewhat stop the leak lol could loft the rear end off the ground and see if oil comes out. I just drove mine down my cousins ditch and oil came dripping out.

At the end of the claim shell? Where the drive shift bolts up to. There is a seal in there that would leak and the drive shift would spray oil all over shit. I had people turn in on tier wipers while they drove behind me. Lol on a sunny day

correct. if there is a bad seal inside the locker, oil could potentially get inside the locker and blow out of the union for the air line.

if it's not the pinion seal or where the 3rd meets the axle housing, do not pressureize the locker, or you risk blowing out the axle shaft seals. if the leak is large enough, the breather may not be able to bleed off the exess pressure in time, and you're gonna soak your wheel bearings with gear oil.

unless you think you've lost an entire quart of oil, break clean the hell out of everything, then drive it around the block and see what's already oily again.

 

you put a new pinion seal in when you installed the locker? could be as easy as the new seal jsut didn't seat right. or if it's an old seal, time to stop by the parts department

a temporary option would be to refill the oil, and then toss some axle shims on to get the pinion up higher until you can fix it.
