    i was, but then i went to pick up batteries/cables..... yeah, i have to order them online because when i asked about it at autozone/oreilleys, i just got stared at like i just got caught finger bangin the neighbors cat.

    battery cable you'll find at the autoparts store is crap. since you're spending money anyway, go get some welding or marine grade stuff. even stereo amp wireing will be good. just have to make sure it's protected as needed because it typically has a thinner shield.
