I just think it's funny that people assume the worst in every scenario. For instance, "OMG he just left it there".

 

That's why I put IF he left it there. I know fully well that just because the video ended doesn't mean he left it. Just looks that way.

This guy had every right to shoot. The animal had obviously demonstrated an aggressive nature towards him.

He did everything right. Stopped as soon as he saw it. Made noise and made himself bigger by standing up while on the snow machine. Unfortunately it didn't work.

He even allowed it to charge him TWICE before he ever pulled the pistol. When it went for a 3rd go at him he did what he had to do to protect himself.

I would have shot it on the first charge. Moose are very dangerous and a little known fact is that more people are killed by moose every year than bears.
