I'll be there. Looking to see some nice rigs! Bonus!! The sticker is a lot cheeper that the inspection sticker!

 

Rain has come to my work part of Houston today

 

It just missed me while out at lunch. 610 @ 290 got none but my house is gettin some....woohoo. Scored me a portable grill from Academy that will serve as dual function one running off gas or just using coals & has a lid. It doesn't fold flat and isn't very much cooking area but it'll do. Had to compromise somewhere. Couldn't beat it for 20.00 & they had coleman propane cans to run it if I wanna do gas for 2.00 each. Set........but will need some aux pits to grill for large group so bring one if you can and we'll see what works out. I will be manning the parts swap, grill tent near the entrance and letting you guys loose on the 20 miles of beach since I've been there so if someone needs to drop off stuff they don't wanna wheel with, like grills, then they can leave it til they get back. I will have cell for folks to stay in contact for cooking timing too for those going down the beach, blah blah blah so on and so forth and yata yata yata...............Got Friday off to get packed and be ready to head to Buccee's Sat a.m..................

 

I'm at 290 and 529 area and it just poured for a few minutes, made our lights flicker quite a bit.

 

Put me down as definitely going + 1 other. The other tacoma is still a maybe. I'm bring a ez-up, portable propane grill, folding table, some chairs, and fishing rods.
We'll be at the Bucees around 7.00am.

I am working on my T-maxx right now, I am going to bring it. Hopefully I will have it ready to go by saturday.

 

Put my 5100s set at 1.75 and my grillcraft on this past weekend, all set up for the meet.

 

nice. I am going to do grillcraft soon. then I am going to have an extra '11 grill

 

I'm very happy with the way that it turned out. I'll have to take some pics of it and upload them.

Damn, just got some bad news last night...wife's grandma passed away yesterday so now the road trip is gonna be to Waco area this wknd. She was 96 and has been having heart problems for some time but had been stable lately. Sooo, gonna be missin out on the meet Y'all have fun and make a pic thread so I'll have salt to rub in the wound. Anyone who was wantin to chk out parts I was gonna bring just PM and we can arrange somethin in town next week I guess.

I am glad you have a strap! I'm runnin 275/70/16's but only 2 wheel drive. I might have to buy you a beer.

I'd be glad just to have the chance to use it.

I've got stock tires and suspension, so I may get stuck myself, knock on wood that doesn't happen.
