If I am in town when (if) we get a tropical storm or hurricane, and there isn't much damage or trash, I would be down.

I dont like using tow straps as much they seem to break more often. but atleast you have one, I am not carrying anything right now.

Really? I have never noticed a tow strap break, doesn't mean much, I have heard of chains snapping and becoming deadly.

Not much around Katy.. General Sam's is probably our best bet for close by. And I have never been there, heard it was ok.

Steve had another forum group out there and they stole a bunch of cable, then another group hit a home he has there with a jeep and refused to pay for the damage. Really, it was just because people were treating his place like crap.

Shiloh has a little bit of everything, but it is an ATV park first IMO. There is a rock garden, and you can trail blaze out there but watch out for those mud holes.. they get deep sometimes. I think Long's Ranch is an awesome place.. Prerunners can do a lot of stuff out there too. Then there is Hidden Falls which has turned into my favorite, Expect damage if you plan on going.

I refused to go to HF until I got my Skid and sliders and I still came home with significant body damage. Still love the place and can't wait to go back. Its got the best of everything, a lot of variety.

I have kind of been wanting to do General Sam's anyways because it is so close.. It's north of Houston.

Umm, trail damage is a bad plan for me with my first truck and all supposed to be lasting through college as my parents spotted me 7000 to buy it. So HF sounds like fun but I would want to ride along and that isn't much fun. Where is Long's ranch?

It's in Llano.. bit of a drive I suppose. Being stupid, I got my first damage there exactly one week before my sliders were ready from Shrockworks.. :censored:

I drink and wheel, so I am one of those guys that breaks stuff.

Well with how often I have called my dad in his 4x4 F-150 to come save me from mud and how often I have been pulled out by a couple of friends while mudding I think I have a good idea, I think I need to get more experience, not so much the truck's fault, more of my own.
