    pm'ed Nick & Taco prerunner.

On a side note. I may have some other items up for sale. Oh I do have a satoshi grill that I removed from my truck. It doesn't have the outer painted part, but it is the inner and mesh. I'll get a picture in the next couple days. I parting with some "can part with stuff" b/c I might be selling the Taco. I need to get a bigger truck for towing my travel trailer b/c I got some big trips coming up. So If everything goes thru. I will have Firestone Ride Rite air bags, N-fab step bars and that's pretty much it. I'll give the local guys here first dibs before even trying to ship something that big.

What truck are you looking at? Good luck with selling. Side question, how long did it take you to install your ride rites?

hmmm, ride right's may help me out since I just have the 3 leaf crap packs and not looking to do AAL because I don't want lift. I'll read up on those...........You have 4x4 and I have Prerunner and there seems to be different part numbers for each but not seeing how they'd be any different as far as fit or function from 1 to the other. My question would be about the airing up or down, can this be done manually with a bicycle pump or do they have some sort of lines like in the pics that have to be run to compressor?....interested.

I'm looking at a 1500 Sierra Z71, Nissan Titan Pro-X4(because my moto metals fit perfectly on these, but seriously that's not the only reason and lastly the Tundra. It all depends on cost. I've heard good things on all of them. I have owned a Z71 Tahoe before and that things was beast, Nissans, I've only read, so a test drive is in order, and Tundras I've driven and got some damn good torque and are pretty comfortable, just expensive comparetively speaking. The Titan is the cheapest.

As for the Ride Rite's, it took me about 4 hours to install and that's because the damn directions are very straightforward. It's really not that hard though. OH that was with a beer break. so maybe 3 1/2 hours.

That's the best way to go in my opinion. The tonque weight on my TT is about 400 lbs and I've put about another 100 lbs or so in the back and when inflated to the right PSI, the truck doesn't even squat an inch below level then when your done, deflate and you get the stock suspension feeling back. I love them. I would keep them, but I doubt they carry over the any truck I'm looking at. I will probably take the money I sell them for and buy another set for the other truck.

Post up pics when you get whatever you get. If you get the Sierra go for the 6.2  I was just wondering how long it took you because it took my dad and I 6 hours fumbling around under his F-150. Worth it in the end towing the boat but the damn instructions like you said and we put the air hoses through his frame. We also had a hard time removing the tires because the brake shop he went to a couple days earlier tightened the lug nuts all the way down. Broke a socket extension.

I was actually looking at the 5.3 6 speed transmission and has the 3.43 gears. From different reviews I've read that combo is real good on highway miles and pretty good on towing. I only have a 16' Toy hauler that weights 3500#. Although I've read the 6.2 is beast, but def a killer in the wallet when it comes to gas. Then again, every truck I've ever owned sucked gas like crazy. And, my trailer is brand new So I know I'll be keeping that for about 5 years, which is what my term will end up being anyways.

So I understand not looking at dodge but why not ford? That ecoboost gets great mileage for the power. I would trust ford over Nissan personally. Which Tundra engine do you want?

I'm going pre-owned this time around and the price is looking right for the 3 trucks I've been looking at. I did look at Dodge and asked a few buddies about there experience with them and didn't have any negative comments. But with Dodge or Ford I wouldn't buy a gas engine. Only diesel. I've owned 2 F-250 & 1 F-350, all diesel and I really don't like the look of the new F-150. I mean the preowned I'm looking at is a 2011 model on the Sierra and 2010 on the others. The Tundra I was looking at the 5.7 limited, but damn those are expensive. about 10k more than the loaded Z71 Sierra.

I'll get that photo for you. It does have some imperfections. one side of the fiberglass cracked on me. not while taking off, but rather a slow creeping crack. I may fix it before i sell it.
