I know. That's how it was last year. I only had a 4 foot wall and the desks faced each other. I hated being able to see the person facing me.

 

I've seen many companies that treat contractors that way. Can't see that environment as being too pleasant.

 

It's not.

 

I was being sarcastic, since my company moved to an "open office" environ with no assigned desk/space, and the ones that are there are just 3 foot partitions. I've been working from home much more....

 

I wish I was able to work from home.

 

Has it's ups and downs.... They moved to the open office, but at least it was after they put the capability to realistically get to everything and everyone we need without requiring an office.
