sound deaden the inside of your door skins, and stay with a 6x9 up front (a good one of course) and you'll have a nice amount of bass.

I'm probably going JBL or infinity when I decide to change things up. For now, my setup is much better than stock and I have set the eq to my liking

I ran 6x9 infinitys in the front and Kicker 6.5 + tweeters in the back, off the stock head unit, with no amp. with just that, sound was 100x better than stock. Now i have an aftermarket head unit that puts out more power than the stock one, but still no amp to the regular speakers. was very happy with that setup, but now i'm even more happy with the subs.

you'll be using a deeper speaker than stock, which will require some baffles if you want to still be able to put your windows down, but without some more serious modification and metal work, you're not fitting anything bigger than a 6x9

heard that. used audio equipment (that isn't free) scares me.

For head units, I just got the pioneer AVH-2400p-BT and I love it! I replaced my first pioneer HU because I wanted a reverse camera after backing into something like a dumbass at 2 in the morning.

Blind spot. Some asshole put a phone pole where it shouldn't have been in a parking lot and I didn't see it because it was directly in my blind spot. I'm pretty decent drunk dirt biking haha

Yeah San Francisco sucks. Most of California sucks. Gas sucks. Cigarette costs are ridiculous. Rent sucks. Jobs are impossible to find....
