Damn. Its getting harder and harder to keep up with this conversation.

Had a random thought though. If they come out with a full size truck that gets far better gas mileage than a Tacoma by 2016 i may swap back over to a full size.

Nissan is supposed to be adding a diesel to the titan engine lineup (no i do not plan to buy one. Stick with me here, this is relevant i promise lol), Dodge already announce a diesel in its 1500 (im personally not impressed by it yet.. Wait a few years and see how it holds up), and Toyota announced that it only makes sense to go with a diesel (or god forbid... Hybrid) in the Tundra. If they plan on using a cummins like Nissan is (rumor has it that it could he a possibility) and they dont fuck it up by having a DEF system like the Ram does then i think it could be a nice option.

Of course i always told myself i would never drive a full size with IFS (i miss my ram 2500 gas guzzler lol), i may make the swap if i find uts more beneficial.

Dont get me wrong, i love this little truck. It goes through all kinds of crap and its completely stock (i have a base model 4x4).

Ive even gone down trails i could never get to in my big truck do to its size (it either sank or the trail was too narrow). The Tacoma seems to float across mud at times which i find enjoyable.

Eh as time goes on i miss my old truck less and less. I will always miss the leg room though lmao.

Edit: nissan is relevant because Toyota plans to use same engine (rumor)

Think we had this conversation like a million pages back lol

Could always just do a motor swap on the tacoma you have now. 5 cylinder diesels out of the old mercedes, or 4bt cummins are most commin swaps

Might have brought something like this before. Just started looking into the fact that Tundra may come equiped with a diesel though.

My memory isnt as sharp as it once was. Sad thing is im not even that old lol. My wife is constantly getting me to do stuff i supposedly said i would do. Marriage is a bitch lol.

I need to start writing down what i say. Sad thing is ill probably forget where i put it once i wrote it down lmao
