    Idk, friends graduation in Austin tomorrow.. or Saturday.. I can't remember but I booked a hotel and was going to make a weekend out of it. Trying to get out of it and just the the ball and chain go without me.

    I have a friend who I ride with who is a diver/underwater welder/all that fun stuff. The money is awesome... When there is work. You can have looooong dry spells.

    So, I'm trying to change out the front shocks on my old 1st Gen 5lugger.

    Now, my question is, what the hell is holding the spring in place other than the LCA and the shock mount?

    And if I take off this top nut, will a nuclear disaster occur?

    Will the shock slip out of the lca? If so just undo the top nut.
    Post a pic of the bottom of the shock
