wouldn't be surprised if there was a speed limit. if not though, i have a shovel on my bed rack. time to build a jump. only about 2 hours from where I am, so it'd be a nice little day trip.

after the two weeks i'm spending up in north dakota starting tomorrow, i'll be in houston another 3ish weeks. after that, I will be be given an assignment that could move me just about anywhere in the country or canada. however, there is about a 50% chance that the assignment will keep me in houston for a year.

If I'm here for a year, I'm driving to Moab, so anything on Texas will seem relatively close in comparison. I've seen some cool pictures of y'all, just gotta make the time now.

Not right now. Its sitting in a storage unit in Florida right now with all of the rest of my stuff. If I am assigned to Houston for another year, I'll drive back to Florida and pick up everything to bring back here.

yea Sugar Hill would be pretty dull for you then. the mud pit i was in was tucked into the back. not too many people run that area unless they have a jeep it seems. supposedly its a big FJ and jeep hang out. i have also heard of a few guys with raptors that go there but they just go for this one jump and to do donuts (i heard a rumor that a raptor flipped over about a month back)

i mainly went because i used to wheel a Ram 2500 and i just wanted to see what the little truck could do. i only had to put in 4x4 for this little section. i was in 2WD for everything else (including all of the hills) but i took traction control off and floored it.

not a bad place to spend a day if your in town. if you have to make a trip then there are probable better places to wheel that are within the same distance.

of course you may meet people here hangin out that know places as well.

what suspension set up are you running Colin?

Im thinking of getting coil overs in the front, leafs in the rear, and UCAs, take off the sway bar and just run 32s maybe.

was wondering what your set up is because you seem to use it pretty often.

Looks like they are building a fully armored truck for running drugs down south.

Do any of you have a recommendation for getting an alignment done on a lifted tacoma? 4wheelparts wants $140+ for an alignment. They claim its because they know where to set the truck up, versus Toyota specs.

    Stickers. Lots of stickers.
4wheel parts is full of shit.

The only reason you should pay that much is for a lifetime alignment.

I've had decent luck with NTB's around town. They can usually get it close to what I want.

These numbers are for both front tires.

    Camber: 0º
    Toe: 0º
    Caster: 2.6º

Normally the tech will tell you that they can't get to 2.6. I've had no problems with anything over 2.0 on the caster, just as long as it's symetrical on both sides.

    Which one?

I've had my RD111 and 4.10's sitting on the shelf for over a year. Still trying to find a deal on the rear.
